How is the process for Packet Tracking / Shipment Tracking?

Describe your application and the goal that you are pursuing with the RFID Tracking System or with the RFID Position Determination. We suggest you the right RFID Asset Tracking System and the right concept. After placing your order, you will receive your access data for our cloud portal and the RFID labels or tags. You attach the RFID labels or RFID tags to your parcels, racks, load carriers, containers etc., assign them to the shipments and can start the packet tracking / shipment tracking immediately. The exact process for the RFID Asset Tracking System looks as follows:



1. NFC-RFID Label / Tag Tapping

Take out the smartphone and tap the NFC Label / Tag.

2. Landing Page Opens

A general landing page opens for anyone who taps the NFC label. Authorized users can make an assignment using the "internal area" button. General product and service information is shown.




3. Enter Login Data

Registration is only possible for authorized persons. Login data is stored in the cache for one month. Afterwards you have to register again.

4. Assignment of the UID - RFID Tag to the Box ID - Barcode

The UID of the RFID Tag, which is read automatically by tapping, is assigned to the shipment / Box ID, which is available as a barcode. With the button "Scan Barcode" the barcode scanner starts directly in the browser. Optionally, the barcode can also be entered manually.




5. Scanning the Barcode

Barcode scanner searches for the barcode via the smartphone camera. Once the barcode has been captured, the number is output as text.

6. Confirmation of the Assignment

With the "Assign" button, the UID of the RFID Tag is assigned to the Shipment / Box ID and saved on the cloud portal. The assignment of the UID of the RFID Label / Tag and the shipment ID / Box ID is thus documented on the RFID Tracking Portal.

8. Recipient Confirms Receipt (digital-cloud)

Using the same principle as described above, the recipient can confirm receipt of the shipment by scanning the RFID Label and Barcode with his smartphone. This data is saved on the cloud server together with the GPS coordinates. The handover is thus documented.
